Buena Vista Ski Area to offer Hawaiian Days

BEMIDJI — Buena Vista Ski Area will hold several events this weekend, Feb. 28-March 2, at 19600 Irvine Ave. NW.

Buena Vista will offer special discounts during its Hawaiian Days, including free drawings, lessons, specials in the cafe and 25% off select items in the gift shop, a release said.

Sunset specials featuring $25 lift tickets and $15 ski or snowboard rental will be available on both Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2.

From 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, Buena Vista will host an art class with Amara Bedford on the third floor of the chalet.

The class is limited to eight people and the cost is $25 per person. For more information, call or text Amara at (215) 983-1664.

Buena Vista will be open for skiing and snowboarding from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. On Saturday, March 1, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ski area will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.

Snow tubing is also available from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday with an online reservation.
