"America’s Little Miss Organization is a non-glitz pageant that encourages young ladies to showcase their personalities from within," the release said. "In addition to modeling ability and costume choice, delegates ages 6 and older are required to prepare an introduction and answer on-stage questions as part of the competition."

Wright competed in her first-ever pageant in April and was awarded the America's Little Miss Minnesota Princess title along with a scholarship to advance to the national competition. She also carries the Little Miss Princess title awarded during the Global United International Children's Pageant in July.

"As the reigning Minnesota Princess, she has had the opportunity to explore various volunteer opportunities both in Bemidji and surrounding communities, appear in numerous parades and community events, meet business owners and promote area businesses while seeking sponsors, walk in a runway show for Maurice's in the Paul Bunyan Mall, and host a fundraiser supporting Cure SMA and PLAA in honor of one of her classmates," the release added.
