BEMIDJI — Beltrami Electric Cooperative will host an electric vehicle car show from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, at Beltrami Electric, 4111 Technology Drive NW, in conjunction with National Drive Electric Week.
Attendees can hear about today’s charging technologies and the programs available for EVs and local electric providers for home charging off-peak rates and rebates, a release said.

Electric vehicles offer a variety of benefits, and EV owners will share their experiences owning and driving an electric vehicle, including overcoming range anxiety and the best way to charge an EV battery. There will be an EV owner discussion panel starting at 5:30 p.m.
The event will feature a variety of EVs: Ford F-150 Lightning, Ford Mach-E Mustang, Chevy Bolt, various Tesla models, Polaris Ranger Kinetic, QuietKat e-bikes and more.
“We are excited to share the benefits of EVs with the community and hope you will come kick a few tires and find out firsthand how electric vehicles are gaining traction,” Bob Gregg, business development manager at Beltrami Electric Cooperative, said in the release.
EV owners who wish to attend the event can register for updates and more information . The first 75 attendees will receive a free T-shirt. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
