Beltrami Electric Cooperative Communications Specialist Angela Lyseng recently earned the 2025 Member Engagement Champion Award at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Connect Conference.
The award is given by Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, a nationwide alliance of electric cooperatives dedicated to integrity, accountability, innovation and community commitment.

It honors individuals who exemplify excellence in engaging cooperative members through creative communication, outreach and service, a release said.
In presenting the award, Touchstone Energy Executive Director Jana Adams described Lyseng as "a true ambassador of member engagement" who demonstrates innovation, creativity and a deep commitment to the cooperative mission in every aspect of her work," added the release.
At Beltrami Electric, Lyseng plays a pivotal role in developing communications strategies, planning community-focused events and identifying meaningful ways to connect with and serve members.
Her thoughtful approach and dedication are instrumental in fulfilling the cooperative鈥檚 mission to inform, involve and inspire the communities it serves, the release noted.
