The blood screening event continues from 7 to 10 a.m. Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16, just inside the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center鈥檚 main entrance.
Club members spent part of their regular Monday meeting filling snack packs and hygiene kits for local nonprofits and writing messages of encouragement on Meals on Wheels delivery bags.
The Bemidji Rotary Club and Sanford Health will be hosting a blood screening event on May 14, 15 and 16. Proceeds will go to United Way's Backpack Buddies program.
The blood screening event will continue on Thursday, May 16, and Friday, May 17, with all proceeds going to the Bemidji Police Department鈥檚 K9 program.

BEMIDJI -- The Sixth Annual Rotary Blood Screening event originally scheduled for May 13-15 has been postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. This event is held in partnership with Sanford Health and provides health screenings for the community, while raising funds to support Rotary playground projects, a release said. It will be rescheduled when deemed safe to do so.
