The honoree is nominated by retail and supplier members of NLA as a Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota company that stands out as being ethical, committed to their industry and community and respected by their peers.

Northwoods Lumber Company is a second-generation, family-owned building material dealer that has served Blackduck, Bemidji, and the surrounding areas since 1973. It is currently owned by Daryl and Lori Lundberg.

“Their association and industry support is matched by very few and their contributions have continued to help shape the value behind the Association and its offerings,” NLA President Cody Nuernberg said.

Daryl Lundberg has served the association in a number of capacities including serving on the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors. In 2016-17, Lundberg served as chairman of the Board and remained active on the Northwestern Lumbermen’s, Inc. Board of Directors until 2021.
