Bemidji Chamber celebrates Sanford Health expansion

Bemidji Chamber Ambassadors congratulated Sanford Health on the recent expansion of its Heart and Vascular Center and East Lobby remodel.

The expanded heart center now features a third catheterization (CATH) lab, expanded nurses station, private offices for clinicians, improved wayfinding and lobby experience for patients and additional clinic rooms for future growth.

For the first time, patients with irregular heartbeats can receive treatment close to home, thanks to the electrophysiology capabilities of the new CATH lab. Earlier this year, the cardiovascular team made history by performing the region鈥檚 first-ever cardiac ablation in the new electrophysiology CATH lab, a release said.
