Sanford Health welcomes Haroldson, MD, to anesthesia team at Bemidji medical center
BEMIDJI, Minn. 鈥� Sanford Health recently welcomed anesthesiologist Alexander Haroldson, MD, to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
Dr. Haroldson provides a variety of services including evaluating, diagnosing and treating acute, chronic and postoperative pain, monitoring patients during sedation, providing general and regional anesthesia, and using ultrasounds to place arterial and central lines.
He offers anesthesia during procedures related to cardiovascular care, general surgery, gynecology, obstetrics, orthopedic care, pediatrics and various other medical specialties.
Dr. Haroldson attended the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wis., and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash.
Originally from the rural community of Cornell in northwestern Wisconsin, Dr. Haroldson has an appreciation for small town life. He loves outdoor activities like fishing and camping, and he enjoys a wide variety of sports, including basketball, pickleball and weight training.
"My goal is to provide superb care by compassionate listening, attentive examinations, and competent application of my medical knowledge and skills," Dr. Haroldson said.
