Amanda Yudell, PA-C, joins the pediatrics team at Sanford Bemidji 1611 Anne St. Clinic

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Sanford Health welcomes Amanda Yudell, PA-C, to the pediatrics team at the Sanford Bemidji 1611 Anne Street Clinic.
Yudell is a physician assistant who works collaboratively with pediatricians, nurses and other health care providers to ensure high-quality care for children from birth through age 18. She provides medical treatment, emotional support and guidance for families while helping them navigate their child’s health and development. Yudell’s services include:
· Diagnosing illnesses
· Growth and developmental checks
· Health education and counseling
· Obtaining a patient’s medical history
· Ordering, performing and interpreting lab results
· Physical exams
· Prescribing medications
· Preventive health care, including immunizations and screenings
She most commonly treats conditions such as asthma, colds, coughs, sore throats, ear infections and minor injuries.
Yudell attended graduate school at Augsburg College in Minneapolis and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Prior to joining the pediatrics team, she worked at the Sanford Bagley and Clearbrook Clinics.
“I strive to be my patients’ health care guide,” Yudell said. “I focus on education and always encourage questions with the hope we can work together as a team to lead them down their healthiest path.”
Yudell is married with two daughters. Her hobbies include cooking, running, gardening, bird watching and canoeing.
